I was excited to deliver the HER TECH CIRCLE Mentor Masterclass, How to Communicate What You Want, working with an incredible cohort of people from the tech community.
One of my favourite things about working with technical minds is discovering what happens when we move beyond knowledge and into expression. We explored how to communicate ideas with clarity, advocate for yourself, navigate important conversations, and make sure your voice is heard when it matters.
And, of course, we turned the cohort into a choir! Because communication is not just about the words we use. It is about voice, presence, listening, and connection. There is something powerful about a group of people finding their collective voice, especially when many of us are used to thinking of communication as something purely intellectual.
The session was followed by mentoring conversations where I had the opportunity to connect with participants one-on-one, explore their individual challenges, and discuss how they could communicate their ideas, ambitions, and value with greater confidence.
